The Jama Masjid is one of the largest mosque�s in India. It is located in Old Delhi. Old Delhi was established in 1648 by Shah Jahan as a walled city called Shahjahanabad. The mosque was built a few years later. It�s courtyard can accommodate more than 25,000 devotees at a time. Some of grand avenues of yester year is what is today�s main roads leading up to the mosque.
